What a great ride!  Just wanted to thank you all for participating and coming with good attitudes.  I hope you enjoyed the ride as much as I did and viewed it an adventure.

Last count we had two bikes go down and one rider.  Dr Hamp is recovering after his get off on Sky Line Drive with a few screws and a rod in his leg after breaking is femur.  At his expense however, it was really cool to see life flight land and take off there in those mountains.  Sorry for your mishap Dennis.  (A note of thanks goes out to the Sanpete county Sheriff and Search and Rescue department for their help with Dennis).

We had 46 Riders this year and anticipate the ride will continue to grow over time.   We have classified this ride as invitational, in part to keep it manageable. Riders from this year now know what is involved to invite others with similar abilities and attitudes. We plan to make this ride each year around the last week in June.

If you’re interested in other rides like this check the UTMA.net for other rides coming up.

I want to thank again our sponsors.  Be sure to stop in and thank them for the support by supporting their businesses.  Edge Power sports in Draper and Rocky Mtn ATV in Payson.  These businesses fuel our sport.  A special thank you to Bill Jefferies and his wife and Chris Johnson and his wife for providing assistance along the trail as chase vehicles.

If you have that perfect photo and would like to share, pass along.   We will pick the best and put them on the web page. www.utah500.com

I welcome your comments and ideas.  If you have any recommendations on how to make this ride better please share.

Until we see each other on the trail again,
